This prospectus provides information concerning the school as required by the most recent Education Act, for parents of pupils who are expected to enter the school from within the catchment area, and also for other parents who wish to know the opportunities available. Information concerning the general arrangements in Northumberland is given separately in the County Education booklet, copies of which are available for parents of pupils who are starting or transferring school next September.

Parents of children in Nursery and Year 4 are asked to complete a Northumberland School Request Form indicating the First School or Middle School of their choice for their child. Such applications should be forwarded via your child's First school to the Director of Education by mid October in the year of transfer or you can apply for a school place online using the Northumberland County Council's online application system - schooladmissions@northumberland.gov.uk

Children from the school usually transfer at the age 9+ to Seaton Hirst Middle school.
